The Collapse of the Post-War Order & Mandate of Heaven – Masaki Miyagawa Interview with James Bartley

Masaki lays out what he sees as the collapse of the post-World War II system, and the idea that most modern nations, from Japan and Germany to Israel, are post-war constructs that are now coming apart. He walks through the contest between China and the American-Israeli bloc as a fight over shipping lanes and chokepoints: the Strait of Gibraltar and the migrant surge into Ceuta, the Strait of Hormuz, the Panama Canal and Colombia’s historic claim to it, and the Strait of Malacca. He also describes conditions inside China that rarely get reported in the West, including catastrophic flooding in Guangxi with mud reaching the second and third floors of buildings, questions about the country’s real population after COVID, half-empty cities and villages, and why the Chinese government cannot afford to report on the floods given the cultural weight of the Mandate of Heaven. Masaki connects the timing to generational astrology, with Pluto’s move out of Leo and into Aquarius marking the end of the boomer-era order, and argues that the BRICS system and the Western new world order want many of the same things, a cashless society among them. He closes the first segment with practical advice about keeping basic supplies on hand.
